Visiting: Kerta Gosa, It is a courthouse where the king and his high priests sat in judgment. The supreme court of the land, the raja, with his Brahman judges and ministers, would hear cases of murder, political conspiracy, sacrilege, and breaches of caste rules. Goa Lawah (Bat Cave), it is a temple at Klungkung regency. Legend has it that when Klungkung was ruled from Kusamba, a prince of Mengwi sought protection here and entered the bat cave. He was not seen again until emerged nearly 20 kms to the north, at Temple Besakih. No one has since tried to enter the cave to prove whether it really extends that far.
